The annual ONS Capitol Hill Days is a two-day education and advocacy conference where members meet to network and learn about a variety of advocacy issues so they can carry the message to their elected officials on Capitol Hill on the final day of the event. This presents an incredible opportunity for ONS members and their chapters to experience how the legislative and regulatory process affects nurses. Equally important is the training that members will bring back to their chapter to help ONS reinforce its health policy agenda in local congressional districts.
Capitol Hill Days has become a must-attend event for any oncology nurse interested in health policy.
Ignite your passion for oncology nursing advocacy! The 8th Annual ONS Capitol Hill Day: An Alumni Experience will kick off ONS’s signature conference, the 49th Annual ONS Congress®, occurring in Washington, DC, from April 24–28, 2024.
This special Hill Day event is being held on Wednesday, April 24, only for previous Capitol Hill Days alumni and seasoned health policy advocates who are attending ONS Congress.
Drawing from the legacy of our past events, we invite you to apply for this exclusive advocacy opportunity. You have the chance to once again stand alongside dedicated oncology nurses to make your voices heard in the halls of Congress.
This is a unique opportunity for you to expand your knowledge and explore how the legislative and regulatory processes directly affect nurses and their ability to provide exceptional care. By joining us, you not only reinforce ONS's health policy agenda but also continue to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of oncology nursing and strengthening our collective voice.
